The rains have started in Thailand

I woke up this morning to drive my wife to her office and saw when I went out to the car that it had rained a lot last night with the roads wet.

This is the first big rain of the season which has cleared the dust from Western Thailand and Myanmar out of the sky. 

So many beautiful clouds.

I am happy that the air is clean with a low air quality pollution index. It has been gray smoggy skies for the last 2 months. 

So happy. 

I'm forging ahead to detail the star systems of the rimworlds.  Essentially I'm mapping coordinates in space for the strategic map for those interested in following the military campaigns of this Space Opera setting that I've been working on for years.

Very excited that I am finally going to get my debut novel out there and begin releasing the full series it's been a long road, many false starts and delays.

Lost for some years in Roleplaying

 What started out as taking a short break from Writing became an extended romp through self soothing and self care, running rolepalying games for almost 4 years.

I started with Twilight:2000, and that fizzled out after 6 months, my fault as I got too focussed in the maps, and the tactical engagements and less story.

I then Started a Cyberpunk Red campaign, and that game me a while lot of ideas for writing, and it was so well recieved, I ended up running two sessions in a week, shared campaign setting two different campaigns.   That lasted about 16 months, until 2023.

Spring 2023, I started a Star Trek Adventures campaign that went for about 30 sessions, the problem was I was not making it weekly scenatrios, un effect it became a long drawn out sandbox, with lots of cool roleplaying but players started to drop. Near the end, I started a second campaign different ship, set in a slightly different time period.  More espionaage than ship stuff.

But the players lost confidence in me, and I was distracted by the purchase of a house, and renovation. We wrapped everything weith the idea that I might probably return to it, but I also told everyone that I wanted to really go back to writing as my kids were growing, we needed the extra money.

A few months ago, I joined Threads by Meta, and recontacted my editors all over the net, mostly from Fiverr.

I set a release date of Mar, 2024 for my debut Novel Merchant of Vision. Making progress on that.  

I have been working on a vast map for the setting, updating the map I had done years ago.

So, slow progress on all of this.
